If you have found yourself entrenched in the Christmas preparations take a moment to listen to Villancico de Navidad performed by Swedish guitarist Mattis Schulstad. The work features on recently released album, 'The Guitar Player'.

Villancico de Navidad, which simply translates to 'Christmas carol', was composed by Paraguayan virtuoso guitarist and composer Agustín Barrios Mangoré. Widely considered one of the greatest classical guitarists of the 20th century, Mangoré's writing for the guitar is delicate and subtle - a perfect sanctuary from the rush of Christmas.
